Yamaha FZ8 : Features, Brake and Engine

Hey guys. Here info about Yamaha FZ8.

Features

Aside from having a few similarities to FZ1 and FZ6, the 2011 Yamaha FZ8 still possesses original features. A newly designed fuel-injected 4-cylinder engine makes this a unique bike.

Brakes

The FZ8 has twin front disc brake specs that were nearly identical at 310mm, and a single 267mm disc. Both of these were pinched by a four-piston front and single-piston rear calipers.

Engine

Another great thing that Yamaha did to the FZ8 was its 779cc engine. This engine has the power to deliver 106.2 hp at 10,000 rpm and 60.8 ft-lb of torque at 8,000 rpm. It has two injectors per cylinder, accompanied by a generous 7.8L air box and asymmetrical intake manifolds. The engine’s two inner cylinders generate more torque and the two outers focus more on power.

A video of Yamaha FZ8 can be seen in this link.

The 135cc Liquid-cooled CVT Engine

Here's thought about Yamaha Nouvo LC.

The 135cc liquid-cooled CVT engine a first for an ASEAN automatic motorcycle consistently delivers superior performance to the Nouvo LC in various riding conditions. With a maximum output of 8.2kW at 8500 rpm and a maximum torque of 10.3Nm at 6500 rpm the engine delivers the best acceleration and high speed performance in its class.Yamaha’s exclusive state-of-the-art technology, the Nouvo LCs next generation engine employs the use of an all-aluminium DiASil cylinder and a lightweight forged aluminium piston, producing an engine that is lighter and far superior in performance without compromisingon durability and strenght.

Reliability and durability are of utmost priority on the Nouvo LC. A long-life V-belt ensures just that and also delivers crisp, responsive drive force from its automatic transmission.A Mikuni BS (Butterfly Slide) type carburetor ensures fine atomization of fuel to provide good starting performance and outstanding
combustion efficiency in the Nouvo LC. With the added function of a TPS Throttle Position Sensor system, the reliability of the BS carburetor is further heightened by ensuring optimum ignition timing under different riding conditions thus achieving excellent fuel economy, more stable idling and all round better drivability.
